Privacy Policy

We collect account details such as username and email address, a securely hashed password, profile settings and public content, uploads, links, and shop entitlements. When you connect Discord, we store the Discord account identifier and profile details needed to show the connection and presence. We may also keep technical logs, session data, and privacy-preserving view records used to secure and operate the service.

We use information to create and secure accounts, publish profiles, provide customization and media features, connect Discord, fulfill shop items, measure profile activity, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and communicate important service information.

Your username, display name, biography, avatar, banner, background, links, badges, Discord presence, tracks, and any other enabled profile elements can be visible to anyone. Do not publish information you want to keep private. Account email addresses and password hashes are not displayed on profiles.

Discord account linking is optional and uses Discord OAuth. Presence data may be supplied by a separately hosted Socialink bot. PayPal payments are coordinated through our Discord support process, while remote images, audio, and social links are requested from the services you choose to use. Those providers apply their own privacy practices.

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to run Socialink, when you direct us to publish it, to investigate abuse or protect users, or when disclosure is required by law.

Socialink uses essential session cookies to keep you signed in, protect forms, and maintain account security. The service does not require advertising cookies. Your browser settings can remove cookies, but doing so may sign you out.

We retain account and profile information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, legal obligations, and backups. You may request account deletion through support. Some limited records may remain when required by law or needed to prevent fraud and abuse.

We use password hashing, access controls, request validation, and other reasonable safeguards designed to protect account data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so use a unique password and report suspected account access promptly.

Socialink is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Contact support if you believe a child under 13 has provided information to the service.

You can edit or hide most public profile information from your dashboard, disconnect optional integrations, and request account assistance or deletion through our Discord server. We may update this policy as the service changes and will publish the revised date below.
